How to Sculpt the Head in Blender for Beginners

hey everyone Stefan here I know it's been a while I've been working on something which I'm going to show you in a bit uh but this video is going to be about sculpting a head out of a sphere for beginners in blender and this I've said before isn't something I usually do in my day-to-day work as a character artist because most of the time working with a base mesh is going to be the more efficient option it saves time not just in the sculpting phase but also in the following stages as well uh but if you're learning if you're learning sculpting and Anatomy this is arguably the best exercise you could be doing so that's what this video is going to be for I'm going to walk you through uh everything from the basics uh of blender to just get you started if this is the first time you're opening a blender that's fine so first for sculpting we're going to need a pen tablet uh I'm using a pen tablet not a screen tablet the pen tablet is uh fine I've been working on one professionally for the other ones are for grab brush I use two three for inflate four for Pinch five is going to be clay strips six draw sharp and seven scrape so you see it's very very easy and fast to set up your own shortcuts you don't have to use the same ones I use I'm very used to these because I've been using them for a very long time so that's how I set them up and the other one is very useful is going to be the mask brush which let's set this to shift one and the other important hot keys to remember uh when sculpting is f uh it's going to control the brush size so press it once and it's going to let you go up and down in size and then shift f is going to be for changing the strength so you see you get a nice numeric value as well and these are also up here or any here there are a few places uh so F and shift F and the other ones I use a lot are going to be the mode spy so you can jump into edit mode and object and uh scope mode uh very quickly and the other one is going to be the view spy menu which is with the Tilted key so right left top bottom it's very quick and easy and lastly a couple of very important ones that I forgot first one is is holding down control while you're using any brush is going to invert the brush's direction
