what's up youtube it's me justin i'm an opera singer today's sponsored video by devron love is a performance analysis on sochiong singing where are you let's go [Music] [Music] [Music] um [Music] oh [Music] um pause pausing pausing this is a beautiful melody whoever wrote this i really really love i love how it starts low and then goes high we'll get back to that in a bit i want to say that i love the subtlety of her breathing there's not a lot let's say going on in the accompaniment part in the instrumentation right and her mic is pr picking up a good amount of sound and when the mic is that strong the type of breath you take in actually has a big play on the overall performance and i really admire how subtle her breathing is and even in moments of phrasing where there's a pause she's not breathing because she doesn't need to um the phrases aren't too long and therefore she's kind of just restraining the idea of just taking breaths just because she can [Music] be [Music] that lends to the overall calmness within the atmosphere and within the song and the lyrics of the song beautiful job okay so now with the melody i had mentioned earlier that i really like how the melody starts low and then just kind of gradually gets high within certain phrases the one phrase that i had just a little bit of issue with when it comes to the voice was one of the latter two phrases we just heard where it dips to a low f3 and then i believe on it hits f3 twice and then on the third note it moves up [Music] yes so on those first two notes the two low f3s i feel like i lost her voice and i feel like those notes are just a low for her in her register but her voice came through um a lot more on the third note when it moved up
