Rating images without auto advance in manage mode or view mode can be click heavy and timeconuming. For example, if I wanted to rate these images, I would have to click the image and either use the hotkey to rate or navigate to the properties panel and use the rating icons here. Once rated, I would have to then choose a new image to rate and repeat the process. This can be made much more streamlined and faster by using auto advance. Auto advance can be found in the options menu. Navigate to tools options. From the general tab, auto advance will be listed first. As you can see, auto advance can be turned on in either manage mode or view mode. Auto advance will assist you when applying the following tags, ratings, labels, categories, and keywords. You can check the boxes in the options menu to turn on auto advance in the mode and method of your selection. When you've done this, click okay. Now, when I rate an image, for example, auto advance will move to the next image after it has been rated, saving you valuable clicks. You can also use the view tab and select filmrip to have the corresponding image displayed as you rate or apply metadata to your images using auto advance. This is more of a workflow that I find really useful. It enables you to see the image as you're rating the images. Please like, comment, and subscribe. And if you'd like, click the bell icon. That'll notify you when we upload new videos.
