Okay, confession time. I admit you were right and I was wrong. 100% binocular overlap in VR is possible, but let me update you a little to begin with [music] and please pay attention. Last time we aimed for a wider field of view with the Dreamer and we sacrificed some of the binocular overlap to somewhat reasonable levels. I think that's the tradeoff. Going from 92% overlap at 103° field of view to 80 something and ending up at 74% overlap with 120° horizontal field of view, which is a little bit extreme, but it works. It gives you a wider field of view, which is cool, of course, [music] but we also know that this could cause 3D depth to feel somewhat flatter, at least for some people. It can introduce warping and for others long sessions in VR [music] can feel more tiring by increasing image separation which a wider field of view does. Wide field of view is simply not for everyone. That's why I also said that 110° or so is probably the sweet spot of VR of the Dream Air. Now, you heard me saying that my next mission was to reach depth max, an attempt of maximizing the stereo overlap or binocular overlap. [music] That's the portion of the view where both your eyes see the same thing simultaneously. The area of the view with natural steroscopic 3D depth. So me and my good old friend Chad GPT sat down together again and [music] eventually we achieved a binocular overlap I wasn't even expecting [music] with the Dreamer Air. Not 95%, not 98, a full 100% binocular overlap. Literally MRTV Sebastian's wet dream. And the crazy part, this is not a hack. It's not a broken profile with a crossedeyed image causing eye fatigue and giving you that classic MRTV Marco feeling every time he jumps out of the ark. No, geometry here is literally spoton. No distortion or warping whatsoever. And nope, [music] peripherals are not cropped on the sides to fake the full overlap, if you know what I mean. Here we are utilizing real 100% stereo overlap that is super comfortable for your eyes. So how did we do it? We started by looking at the previous base profile, especially the default one used at CES with 103° field of view. It has 103.15° horizontally, 88° vertically with 95.15° of overlap.
