I Locked Myself In a Room Until I Created a Functional Product

This is my bedroom, and this is my 3D printer . And starting now, I can't cross this line until I've designed , prototyped, and finalized my very own product , which I'm going to try to sell at the end of this video . I'm obviously going to need access to my 3D printers , so I set them both up in my bedroom along with some filament . This challenge is going to take me more than 1 day , so I made sure I was stocked up on food and water. But with food and water comes with So, I grabbed this cooler that was the perfect size . I'm just kidding. That would be gross . I'm going to be giving myself access to my bathroom , which is right beside my bedroom . I added a new boundary line on the floor to make sure I didn't go anywhere else in the house . Now we can get into exactly what kind of product I'll be creating . I spent a lot of time brainstorming , and eventually I came up with this genius idea . And it has to do with one of these measuring tapes . [music] When I'm using one of these , I either need to write the measurements down on a piece of paper , which is super inconvenient , or just hope my mind can retain the [music] information , which is unlikely since I picked up a concussion . Anyways, [music] I wanted to make something that could connect to any measuring tape and easily allow you to keep track of your dimensions . So, before starting this challenge, I gathered all the measuring tapes I could find to use [music] as reference. Ok . Okay, so we're officially starting this challenge at 4:05 on March [music] 13th . Designing little fidgets for your 3D printer can be difficult , so creating an entire product is going to be a huge challenge . I'm going to start making sketches of different ways that I can achieve my idea
