Unlock the secrets of the legendary Krokodove effects.

So, massive updates in DaVinci Resolve this year . So many cool new features. One thing that really caught my eye was the inclusion of the legendary crocodile effects . But, there is a little bit of a problem in that there just isn't that much information around at the moment about how to use these effects correctly . So, in this video I've picked my nine favorite effects . We're going to do a deep dive and really understand how they work and how you can use them in your videos . [music] The rasterize effect is like a super flexible halftone effect . And with the right nudgings, it can also [clears throat] be coaxed into all manner of interesting textures and abstractions . Let's start by having a quick look at the inputs for the node. So, you've got your standard yellow and blue for main image input and effects mask input. So, in this case we've got this rasterized text on the main yellow input, and then we're just masking . Then the third input on here, the green input, is for an external shape . So, I've got this little PNG of a circular shape with a transparent background and a textured blue surface . If I pop that into the external shape input and then set up the controls properly , so we'll need to just nip into the shape tab and change that to shape . And that's taken on both the shape and the texture of this PNG input . And then if I go through to the color tab and change that to external, i , it takes on the color of the external input as well . Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves , though, and let's have a proper deep dive into the controls . To do that, though, I'm going to actually use a little video clip instead of some text. So
