We Investigated JD Vance For Foreign Influence, Now He’s Panicking!

So, in a world where one of the big conspiracy theories or attitudes I would should say on the right and the conservative right in America that I certainly consider myself a part of is this trend to believe that Israel somehow controls the US government that the influence of Israel is outsized. And the truth is when you look at the numbers , when you look at which countries actually invest the most in their influence operations in the US , Israel's probably not even in the top 10 . And recently Emily Schrader, who's an award-winning journalist who is the host of the Axis of Truth podcast on JNS , also the co-host of the Quad, she is really one of the most influential journalists in the in this space and we're honored to have her with us on Israel 365 News to talk about some recent recent exposé and and how it was how it was received, shall we say, on the conservative right in America Emily, thanks for joining us . What's the story here ? I'm going to be here . Thanks for having me on . So, basically the story was I talk about subversion quite a bit on my podcast and my writings , but I did do a pretty lengthy and thorough segment on the ties to Qatar of many many of the core donors and affiliates of J.D. Vance . And I've been a pretty harsh critic of J.D. Vance because of his policies , particularly his views on foreign policy and some of the comments that he's made about the US-Israel relationship that are frankly completely unfounded . He loves to not say directly, but sort of hint to dog whistle about these anti-Israel and frankly anti-Semitic conspiracies and his followers have picked up on that . It's very clear. Already since the memorandum of understanding with the Islamic Republic was announced and it got quite a bit of criticism not just from Israelis , but of course from Iranians and from the Arab world as well . And what we saw online in that conversation was that almost all of J.D. Vance's most loyal followers immediately began launching a campaign against individual activists from across the world claiming that this is some sort of foreign-funded op in order to undermine the vice president , which is of course absurd. We don't need a foreign-funded op to point out that a bad memorandum of understanding is bad. So, it's really insulting to the intelligence of , but that is precisely what they're doing because it's a way of shielding themselves from actual uh criticism and from answering legitimate questions , many of which I raised on my podcast this past week
