How to Set Up Zen Browser (Full Walkthrough for Beginners)

Zen is a minimalist browser built for productivity and deep focus, but the setup can be a bit confusing. It took me some time to figure it out, so in this video, I'll walk you through the full setup step by step to help you get the most of it. So, first thing you want to do is head to their website and in the top right corner, click download and choose the proper version for your computer. Then run the installer. After it runs, click next, standard, and install. and [Music] finish. Click next. Set it as your default browser and then [Music] skip. Select your search engine. Then [Music] next, next. And choose a color to start off with. Then click dive in. So this is what you first see when you download Zen. And basically here on the left you have your vertical tab bar. And here are your tabs. You can move them around. Here are your pinned tabs, your essential tabs, and the URL of the current tab you're on. So we can go ahead and start by closing these tabs by clicking the X or by clicking the middle mouse button or Ctrl W. Then you can unpin the tab by clicking this dash here and closing it. Or you can right click and unpin tab and close it. Then you can remove these from your essentials by right clicking, remove from essentials and then closing them. So now we have a blank slate to work with. And you can move the window by holding left click on the sidebar or holding left click at the top. The first thing you want to do is head down to settings, click general, scroll down, and you can choose between light theme and dark theme. And you can also choose your default language. Then head into look and feel. And here you have three options for a single toolbar, which is a side panel here. Multiple toolbars where you have the top bar and sidebar. and collapse toolbar where you have the top bar and smaller icons.
