Recover Restore Dahua DVR Password
YouTube transcript, YouTube translate
A quick preview of the first subtitles so you know what the video covers.
Hello, welcome to another Web y Servicios video. Today we will explain how to unlock your DVR recorder, or at least most ways you can unlock it when you forget the password. This happens because sometimes you might forget the password you set, and other times, someone installed a kit or package for you, they set the password, never gave it to you, and now you don't know how to access the equipment, add new features, or even reset it because you don't know the password. But before we start, I have a question for you, and I'd like you to answer in the comments: Do you know, or can you approximate, what year the first video surveillance circuit or closed-circuit surveillance system was used? Write it in the comments; I'll give you the answer at the end. Note: We are talking about Dahua equipment, and for the Dahua family, the methods we can use next will start with the most common one, which is the reset button. Nowadays, most equipment—cameras, recorders, cell phones, many electronic devices—have a reset button, and Dahua equipment is no exception. Not all of them have a reset button, but you will find a reset button on most. For the example, I will use this classic Dahua DVR model. I think most people in this field are familiar with this round model. When we open it, we will find a reset button. Checking the motherboard, we will find this reset button here. It's a click, click, click, click button. There it is. And not all equipment has this, okay? So, when you don't remember your password, first start by opening your recorder and checking if you have a physical reset button. You will find it on most of your equipment; you won't find it on the Cooper series.
