Hello everyone who stumbled upon my video, my name is Andendre, and by profession, I work with firearms in the film industry. Besides that, I am a not particularly successful but very enthusiastic sport shooter. So, stemming from these two areas, I manage to get my hands on some interesting things, a few of which I'd be happy to show you today. Today, I want to show you a Canik TTI Combat pistol. To be honest, I might be a bit late to the party, as this pistol was first introduced at this year's SHOT Show in Las Vegas, which I was fortunate enough to handle live, and it hit the market shortly after. So, anyone receptive to this and interested in this specific model has probably already seen quite a bit about it from foreign content creators, and Hungarian Kaliber also recently wrote an article about it from a different perspective. However, the firearms market doesn't really resemble, let's say, mobile phones, where yearly models make the previous ones obsolete; even 10-20-year-old makes are considered relatively new in this field. Forgive me if the comparison is terrible, but when this was first announced, it immediately reminded me of when, for example, in the fashion market, two brands with completely different perceptions and pricing collaborate to create something together, like a North Face and Gucci collab. Except, while such a monstrous piece of clothing comes with a horrific price tag, it's not entirely clear to me what customer base they targeted with this firearm. They launched the Canik TTI Combat not at Gucci prices, but at North Face prices, while promising the quality of the former. And let's not misunderstand; both the clothing brands and the firearm promise good reputations, in the latter case, premium quality, just not at a premium price. Canik is a Turkish manufacturer, and although the Turks have surged onto the market like groundwater in recent years.
