hello and welcome to sunvox for programmers this is part one of a mini course that I'm doing on YouTube that will teach you how to use sunbox some basic music theory and how to write a soundtrack for your video game this course is designed for people who are new to writing music on the computer and just want to be able to use a free software to write a great soundtrack for their own video game so let's jump right into it I'm I'm going to just briefly talk about sunvox sunvox is a fully modular tracker that is free there will be a link to download it in the in the description and in the top right corner here there should be a tutorial for how to get all set up with sunbox how to download it and put it on your computer up um now with that out of the way let's just go ahead and start so you're going to want to have sunbox open and the first thing we're going to do is click this corner button and click new project then we're going to click on empty because we don't want anything inside any modules inside of our module view we just want a clean slate all right so let's just jump right into explaining the different sections of sunbox up here we have the pattern editor right here we have the module view a module is basically how we create our instrument instrument s in zenbox down here we have our timeline and our patterns so what we're going to do is we're going to come to this middle part here and create our first module by
