Hello, welcome to a new video tutorial from our channel, we are Proc Medellín providing technological security. Today we are going to factory reset this XVR reference 1B08-I. We don't know the password, so we must factory reset it directly by bridging the circuit board so it can clear the password and we can start configuring from scratch. Let's see where and how this reset is done. Okay, here we have the XVR board. We are going to identify where it says J7 and it has 1 with a square and 2 with a circle. Not all boards have the reset in this way; in other videos on our channel, you can identify other references where this reset is located. Some have a button here, others have the reset on this side. The important thing is to identify this square and this circle, 1 and 2. It's not always J7; sometimes it's J1. For the 1B04H, sorry, 1B08HI reference, it's J19. What we need to do is take a small wire with stripped ends on both sides and bridge those two holes. We will place the wire in those two holes. Once it's in those two holes, we connect the power with the wire already in place, and the XVR should emit a sound, a beep, which indicates that it has already been factory reset. When that beep sounds, it tells us that it has been factory reset. Let's see the process. Okay, basically that's it. There we see the bridge with the same wire. We are bridging. Now we are going to power the XVR. At this moment, we turned on the XVR. There we hear the quick beep. What does that beep mean? It means the XVR has cleared that
