I have helped over 60,000 people to get strong, improve their mobility, and prevent and avoid injuries. And I have worked closely with hundreds more. And I always get asked the same questions. So today, I thought it would be very valuable for me to answer the most common questions that I get asked in relation to mobility, movement, preventing injuries, and just reclaiming what you have lost as a human being due to sedentary lifestyles and lack of attention to movement. It's important to address the body as a whole unit. This is where this diverse movement practice comes into play because at the end of the day, mobility is just your ability to express yourself freely through space in any way in any capacity that you choose to. So remember, motivation, throw it out the door. Focus on the process. So let's get into it. The most common question by far is how do I get started with mobility? What you first have to understand is that mobility is not some kind of woo woo subject, something that's hard to attain, something that you need to spend additional time on. Mobility is literally your ability to express yourself freely through space as a human should. Now, how do we go about starting this mobility? Well, it comes down to doing everything that you do in your day-to-day life as well as doing everything that you do when you do go and train with intention and awareness. Now, this means when I go to the gym and I go and do my traditional weight training like my squatting, like my bench pressing, like my machine-based exercises, etc. I need to understand am I actually doing what is best to help improve my range of motion to help strengthen avoid prevent injuries and to actually move in a way that me as a human has evolved to move. Most people don't do that. So when you design your training program or you have someone design the training program for you or even if you just go there and experiment in the gym, always pay attention. Are you actually moving through a full range of motion? Are you sacrificing your form to increase load or add more weight to the bar? Are you actually intentionally aware of what your muscles and your joints are doing? Are you feeling any pain?
