[music] A cordial greeting to everyone. Welcome to your channel, Jack's Bunker. Thank you for your time, thank you for your company. In this video we are going to watch, uh, we are going to talk about the incorporation of the Autel Dragonfish [music] VTOL drone that the Colombian army has made into the new unmanned aircraft battalion. This hybrid system combines vertical take-off and landing with efficient fixed-wing flight, offering greater autonomy, uh, range, and strategic observation capability with redundant modules, RTK positioning, environmental assistance, and optical [music] thermal cameras. It becomes a key tool for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions in complex areas. So let's watch our video, let's get the information, let's get to know these drones, the Autel Dragonfish that the Colombian army has acquired. So let's talk no more and let's go with our video. Colombia has incorporated Dragonfish VTOL drones into the new Unmanned Aircraft Battalion (BAND). This platform will allow the army to carry out reconnaissance missions in hard-to-reach areas without the need for runways. The Dragonfish is a hybrid VTOL drone, vertical take-off and landing, fixed wing, which allows it to take off and land vertically and then fly like an airplane, optimizing its efficiency and extending its range with lower energy consumption. This drone weighs approximately 7.5 kg and can carry up to 1.5 kg of equipment. Furthermore, it can operate for 120 minutes and transmit real-time video up to a distance of 30 km. Among its features, the Dragonfish can fly at altitudes close to 6,000 m and has redundant modules in its critical systems, which include batteries and IMU, inertial measurement unit, barometer, compass, and positioning systems. It also uses RTK technology, real-time kinematics, to offer centimeter-level accuracy. Its structure is made of composite materials.
