Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the press in the capital of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on November 27th, mentioning a new plan drafted by the US to end the conflict in Ukraine. This is the first time Putin has publicly mentioned this plan since it was delivered to Ukraine by the US last week. Putin said the US is considering Russia's position but there are still some issues to be discussed. Russian officials are ready to hold serious discussions when US envoy Steve Quick visits Moscow next week. President Putin emphasized that he has not yet received the draft agreement and the 28 points published in the media are just a list of... He added that Moscow does not object to incorporating European proposals and everything can be considered. He said if Europe wants to see Russia declare no intention to attack them, we are ready to make such a declaration. However, from Russia's perspective, accusations that Russia intends to attack Europe are completely unfounded. Regarding the military situation, the Russian President stated that his country's forces are accelerating their advance. He said if Ukraine withdraws from the territories it currently holds, the war will end. If they do not, we will achieve our goals by military means. That's all. The US-drafted peace plan initially included 28 points, requiring Ukraine to cede part of its territory, accept limits on military size, and cease pursuing NATO membership—for many Ukrainians, including frontline soldiers, these terms are equivalent to surrender.
