Hey guys, we've got a scam here . WWE Hall of Famer, the million-dollar man , Ted Deiosi, and his two sons, Ted Deiosi Jr . and Brett Deiosi, are in some hot water at the moment . Allow me to explain . In 2001, Ted Debiosi Senior started a nonprofit called Heart of David Ministry based in the state of Mississippi . Debiosi would travel around the US speaking at churches and other public events to share his Christian faith . For over a decade, Debiosi's nonprofit had relatively meager funds . In fact, an article from 2016 says that Ted Debiosi preached three sermons and received $3500 . So, for about 15 years, The Million-Dollar Man's nonprofit appeared to run smoothly with no public issues or anything . Then in 2017, one of Ted Debbiosi's sons, Brett , got hired by the Mississippi Department of Human . Brett Diosi became a deputy administrator in the department . But what's important to know is that the Department of Human Services controls the state of Mississippi's welfare money. Now, it just so happens that after Brett Debbiosi gets this job , Ted Debbiosi Senior's nonprofit starts getting these very large amounts of welfare money . According to reports, Heart of David Ministries received roughly 1.7 to 2.1 million over the course of several years . Money that was intended for needy families . Making things even more suspicious was the way Ted Debiosi's nonprofit spent the money it was given . According to reports, one of Debiosi's trip included a $3,000 airplane ticket and an $1,800 luxury hotel stay . On top of all that, it was alleged that Ted Debiosi Senior failed to perform all the work he was paid to do . But it wasn't just the million-doll man who was involved
