Hello, this is Domori. Major media outlets say China's debt is within 80% of its GDP. Compared to other major countries, its national finances are quite sound. Is that really true? I'm asking all of you. Some people say that if you only look at the debt officially announced by the government, it's less than 80% of GDP. But that's because you trust the government's figures too much. For better or worse, 80% of accounting is based on political fantasy. I explained this in detail in the video "China: The Empire of Suspicion," but for example, major media outlets report China's population as 1.4 billion, as officially announced by China. However, the population announced by the Chinese government isn't a number that can be counted as 1.4 billion; it's something abstract like "We claim 1.4 billion power, we're strong!" Okay? As a fundamental premise, it is absolutely necessary to recognize that the number 1.4 billion has no link to reality. Please don't misunderstand. This isn't criticism of China, but simply the national character, which we Japanese probably feel more intimately than anyone else in the world because we've dealt with the Chinese for so long. Therefore, we look at the client's situation objectively with great affection. So, don't misunderstand this as being some kind of China hater. And the exact same thing can be said about China's debt. The true scale of this debt is so immense that if the facts became widely known, it could grow into a super-giant bomb capable of collapsing the world economy. The nation of China is not just the central government. The reality is that the local government's off-balance-sheet financing vehicles (LGFVs), countless state-owned enterprises, policy funds established to rescue real estate developers, wealth management products, trusts, and all that shadow banking are intertwined, and the entire nation is engaged in window dressing. No, you might just see it as window dressing from the outside, but for the Chinese people, what is the total debt if all the actual national debt within the scope of daily operations is consolidated? No one is telling the truth about China's finances. So, this time, I will try to expose the real situation. However, I will try to keep it as non-sensational as possible.
