Hi everyone. In this video, we finally getting back to the doender project. If you're new here, doer is the fully open-source and free project that turns two old reality 3 printers into one fast corxy machine with minimal cost. The last three videos about clipier firmware didn't get much attention, so today's video will be a bit easier to digest. Today, I'll show you the second version of Doender now running on MGN 9 rails. I'll also talk about what's going on with the project and how it's evolving. And toward the end of the video, we'll go over some issues people have run into and how we solve them together. Don't forget to subscribe, leave a comment, and hit the like button. It really helps the channel grow. Also, join my Discord server. There is already a great group of smart and friendly people there who help move the projects forward and are always ready to share advice. There you can also find fresh remix files from the community and better versions of my own designs. So let's start with some updates of the first version of doender. It's been a few months since I released a wheelbased version. I made a couple of small changes, but overall it stayed pretty much the same. Since I switched to rails right after the release, I haven't been able to fully test the mods made for the wheel version. But that doesn't mean the project is done. A lot of talented people have started making remixes on their own versions of Dender, even based on completely different printers. You can already find some interesting parts on printables designed for specific setups or hardware. There is a cool extrusionless MGM12 gantry version that helps reduce weight on the X-axis while still using a solid MGN rail without any Vlot profile. There is also a stunning base case version. Not only does it hide all the electronics under the printer, it also looks super stylish. It even has a logo. Yep, the Ender has it own logo. Now, even more impressive is the remix built from two CR10 printers. Honestly, it's more a complete version than just a remix packed with the interesting features. It also hides all the electronics underneath and the Z-axis uses three motors and three lead screws.
